Texture/Material - Densely herringbone woven soft textured handwoven Natural silk fabric. These fabrics are completely handwoven on a frame loom. The yarns/threads used for this fabric is ghicha and spun silk. Handwoven fabrics have totally different texture then mill made fabrics. It is due to the low weaving speed and the equipment used for weaving that determine the thickness and quality of the yarn. It is these textures that helps in creating distinct handloom fabrics. This is a pure handwoven, pure silk natural product. The gsm of this fabric would be around 250 to 300. 

Ghicha is a silk yarn that is extracted directly from cocoons that remain after the reeling of Tussar silk directly from the cocoon. Ghicha silk fabric is smooth to touch. Ghicha has properties identical to that of cotton and yet it possesses the lustrous silk sheen.
